N4M's Community Guidelines
and
OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

It was either 807 or 808. 919 got a 1.5 hour call today (and yesterday) along with Doritos and Dr. Pepper! My wife also mentioned that 919 earned the CNO flag which means they get to go to "Recruit Heaven" for 3 hours after BS21. Apparently, "Recruit Heaven" is a building that has phones, computers, FOOD, internet, private bathrooms, etc. (The things we all take for granted), so I'm sure they are ecstatic about spending some time there on Tuesday!

Woohoo! Does anyone know which division won the non-integrated cup? (I am learning something new every day. :))
Comment by JHubby on March 14, 2015 at 6:58pm
The division compete against each other for the Captain's Cup. There are two cups: one for non-integrated divisions (all male and I believe she said one of the 800s won that one) and an integrated (co-ed division). DIV 919 won the Integrated Captain's Cup!

If they do not pass BattleStations the first time, they will go through again and pass, so no worries.  What can trip some up is not passing that final PFA (fitness test) since they cannot do BattleStations until that is passed.  If you do NOT receive a call from your SR by their BattleStations date, assume that he/she passed and will be doing BattleStations.  Even if they didn't pass that final PFA, they have a couple more chances to try and still be at PIR.  If they do not pass by then, they will not have a PIR but will stay in FIT and keep trying to pass (10-12 more chances every 48 hrs)....once they pass, they have a short Liberty (you will not get a heads up for this until the I'm a Sailor call, so unless you live very close, it would be hard to join your sailor for that)....and then head straight to A School.  No PIR once they miss their own for test failure.

Hoping that all will be at PIR!

Good Morning!

Captains Cup this morning for this PIR Group....lots of athletic competitive fun between divisions!
