Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 129 and 130

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Super Cute Bunny Waving

Hello Navy Moms, My son is on Ship 12 Div 129. I received a call from my son today 3/14 at 6:59pm. My energy and happiness returned in that moment. I was sooo Happy. He called to tell me the Gate Password changed when they changed the graduation date from 3/29 to 3/22. I asked why hadn't he called in awhile or wrote me, he said that he was doing good but in their division their teamwork hadn't been doing to good. Since the team wasn't doing good everyone had consequences. But they've improved and are all doing better as a team. They've taken the main written test, completed the fire test and he did tell me he had been in the "Gas" chamber. They passed their inspection and they will be taking their PT test soon and their last written test. Then..... Battle Station 21 next week. He said that today was 6-4. He did state that he had received all of my letters and could tell by the dates that he was receiving them much later than when they were written. Not sure if this was part of their team punishment or just their processing of mail is slow. He asked to hold off until after graduation before sending anymore letters because he doesn't have much space. He requested books, his cell phone, and a couple pair of jeans. I asked if he wanted shirts he told me no (thought that was strange) his A-School will be in Great Lakes. The Brother Division is made up of both Male and Female recruits. God Bless Everyone! Send a special thank you to your SR's for Serving our Country. Be safe, stay hopeful and Congrats to your future Sailor.

My son is on Ship 12 Division 130.  Has anyone in that division received the form letter or box yet?

My daughter is on Ship 12 Div 130 also I recieved the box on Friday and form letter today

Racer88girl, I sent you a private message as well as a friend request. Could you please look at you form letter again. Does it say division 130 with a PIR of 3/29?

My daughter is also on ship 12 div 130.

I am confused.  The recruiter said my son is on Ship 12, Division 130, with a graduation date of 3/22.  I haven't received the letter or box yet, but I see here the graduation date is 3/29?  Has it changed since I talked to the recruiter?

There is NO change in the PIR date! There seems to have been a couple of form letters sent out that have either the wrong division or wrong PIR date on them.  Divisions 121-130 and 919 still have a PIR of 03/22.

Thank you!  I didn't know what was going on!  Still waiting on my box and letter but it's only been a week, so I know I'm just impatient!  Thanks again.

ellen0520  I finally got a hold of my daughters recuiter today and her PIR date is 03/22/2013.  He said she has to report to a school on 03/29/13

Good to see you get the date cleared up. Welcome to PIR 03/22. :)

I got the same letter from my husband. Does this mean they get a leave? My husband said something about a 5 day leave before he left. I was for sure it wasn't gonna happen now I'm a little curious?
