I got a LETTER! It was so nice to hear from him. It was dated the 13th. Said the gas chamber mad him laugh hysterically. Everybody was laughing, snotting and crying. I could tell from the letter he was really happy things are getting close to done and they all must feel better. My guy is in div 920 so he performed his first graduation last week. He really enjoyed it but said it was bittersweet as it was not his own. Hope to see you all very soon.
Good to see you here, Jodie! Yes, we have heard in the past that FB seems to be more mobile friendly. I have been working on the N4Moms PIR groups now for over 5 years. I have seen them getting slower and slower, because of FB being easier for many. Makes me sad to lose ladies because N4Moms is not as mobile-friendly. Wish there was a way to fix that! Glad you stopped in and tell some of the others over there to stop in!
By the way, phone calls should be starting to come in anytime now (I'm a Sailor!) from Div 119-122. Keep those phones close and post when you get a call!
Happy Friday!
"It is God who arms me with strength
and makes my way perfect."
Psalm 18:32
What great letters, poodlelover! That is wonderful!
The gas chamber...when my son was up there, he was in the last or next to last row to go. Those SRs had to watch the others to through....UGH! He said it burns like crazy and yes, snot/tears everywhere, but he said when they finally get out, and they recover a bit, they all end up laughing...probably because they made it through! :-)
Good Morning!
Two letters today!!!! First one was dated the 10th. He said he had a few minutes early in the morning and I am honored he chose to write his mom. He said they were finishing up firefighting last week. He even mentioned he was glad for the current event copies I have been seeing him. Made this mom happy. The second letter was dated the 13th. He said he had his pictures taken and he did buy them. So that is one less thing this mom has to worry about. He said his division 119 has earned three flags: guide flag ship flag, and personal flag. He said his division did the gas chamber. He said it was awesome. Not for sure about that. He said and I quote "Snot and tears everywhere" LOL He said the last week should be a chill week. I hope so for them.He concurred he would call me in the next few days
Congratulations PacnMom
