We arrived yesterday for PIR. Today we explored the area. We are in Waukegan. Went to Gurnee Mills Mall, it is nice and lots of good chain restaurants close by. Went to Illinoise Beach State Park. I had to see a Great Lake while her. Much different than Oregon. Went to the base visitors center next to the museum. They were very helpful. Already for our big morning! Everyone we have met is helpful and nice.
