I'm a Sailor calls expected this afternoon from 920/123/124! Keep those phones close!
Good Morning!
If a SR didn't pass their final PFA (each must pass this one in order to go on to BattleStations) by their BattleStations date, they are given a chance to call you and tell you that they may not be graduating. So in this case, no news is good news! Although they are not MADE to make this call, most will knowing that their families had PIR plans.
darsatm .. my sailor called me last friday to say he had passed everything and graduating this friday. Sailors were to call family last week weather they passed or not, I think thats right.
I also saw this on our local news. I hope the navy gives them a good briefing this week to really sink in the serious of the social media. I plan on talking to my sailor (did you notice I didn't say SR anymore) this weekend about it also.
