Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Female SR's in PIR 3/30
Gathering the Female SR's. My daughter is in 11/102. She says she sees the girls from 11/101 at night , So figured others would be together as well.
My SR really loves all the girls she has met. They are really helping her and encouraging each other. Just wondered if any mom's have info on the ladies??

My adopted daughter is in 12/097. And she says that it is hard, but that the girls are doing what they can to encourage eachother. I will keep you posted as I know. Good luck.

My daughter is /was having a hard time. wanted to come home to her own bed, but said she did not want to disappoint anyone, and that she is so close to all the girls after only 5 days!!. That says alot for mine, girls bug her. So they are really encouraging each other!!
Also, do you know what a "girls leave" is?? A Dad had mentioned that his daughter was on girls leave.

My SR daughter graduates 3/30/12; she states she is one that "lightens" things up when it's tense. She didn't sleep so great on the start and I wonder how she's doing now. It does amaze me how determined my daughter is to be successful with the path she has chosen. Not usre what a "girls leave" is....

I spoke to my SR, and she said in the beginning some of the problems were girls just not listening. I think the situation has righted itself, and she said she the girls are awesome now. She's a little older than most (23) and she has a little bit more life experience since she's a mom already, so the younger ones tend to look at her as the big sister. Can't wait to see her mature more and blossom in her new role as a sailor...Will keep you gals posted.
