For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Ok families with SR in ship 12 DIV 097
OK I am just seeing a bunch of replies to my previous post about getting letters from my SR... I got three and he told me all about how things were going... they have about 5 inches of snow on the ground up there... said they March in it but have to wear so much clothing that they actually sweat!! He is doing well but def misses home so I know my letters to him mean much more than I realize!! Hope you guys are starting to get letters.. i hear phone call comes at 31/2 weeks in?? That is really soon... like any day now!? I would LOVE to get a call!! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!! GO GET EM' DIV 097!! We are so proud of you all!!!

Thanks for the updates...My adopted daughter is in Div 097 too. I received two letters yesterday. March 30th can't come fast enough. Lets keep them in our prayers and good thoughts.

I agree with you 100%... March 30 cannot arrive quick enough for me!!! We have a two year old Daughter and from Dakota's letters he is having a hard time being away from her. She is also having the same problem... she is a Daddys girl for sure. We send letters almost everyday... pictures she colored and recent pictures of us... things to keep him motivated and encouraged!! I know how important this must be to our SR's. I am so glad you got some letters... hoping phone calls follow quickly behind!! Major prayers for these brave souls!!!

My daughter is in Div 097. I received my first three letters form her. She said they get yelled at a lot. She said the food is good. She has made some good friends and is passing her tests so far. They were awarded a Flag for being the Best Division!!! Yay! I also heard they have a very clean ship since they clean it about twice a day for about 1 1/2 hours and do nothing to make it messy :) I can't wait for more letters, that first phone call and PIR!
