I hear you on that one. I sent my son (in my first letter) stationary, stamps and envelopes because I read they needed them and it was ok. But he told me in his letter to me that he is "can't receive items". He didn't say it caused a problem. I sure hope it didn't. But like you I do not want to do ANYTHING we should not be doing.
Oh MY!!! I sent stamps and address labels. I hope I didn't screw up!!! Jeepers! I am a nervous wreck!
No, Please do not be a nervous wreck. I did not mean to upset you. He would have told me if it caused him a problem. On the RTC FB page alot of Mom's said they did the same thing. It is ok. I am just not sending anything else unless my son tells me to. Please do not be upset. I feel bad that I upset you.
oh you did not upset me : ) I was being dramatic. After reading what to post and not to post, and what to send and not to send...I am just afraid I'm gonna screw up. lol But you did not upset me at all. Thank you though for being concerned. If we ever meet in person you will see that I would rather laugh than anything. It's hard to convey that on the computer.
Oh ok, good. I know our emotions are running high and I sure didn't want to upset you. But I do know what you mean. I read this and that. I sure as heck do not want to do anything that would cause a problem for him. Sure will be glad to get a phone call.
that is so interesting because my son asked for a book of stamps so I sent them to him, I guess I will find out if he was able to keep them.
Got my first letter on Thursday. My son says all is well but they don't do PT enough...lol. He says we don't write him enough so now I will be writing him everyday.
my son is on ship 04 div 809 also!
Well hello!!! My son is there with yours. Have you received a letter yet? We received 3 on the same day. One for me, one for my daughter and one very short one for the whole family. Welcome to the group!
