               For intruders and rank recognition.)

I cant wait for a call now, but this letter telling me all is good and that he passed PFA... Makes my day!!!

And I was worrried about that part the most...Its called being a mom:)

omama this schedule is awesome. I do not think we have ever had this. I may have to borrow it.

In regards to "eat dinner". Watch how fast your sailors eat during PIR weekend. Its amazing how fast they clean their plate. My son told me that the other divisions are bothered by the spec ops when they come in to eat. They throw their stuff down and chow down quickly. In and out. Also they are not allowed to have any desserts. The instructors will take it.

Funny story: after PIR we went back to the hotel and the maid left some chocolates on the table for us. My son kept looking at it, and finally asked if he could have it. Can you imagine them asking at home? That when he told me about the desserts.

So on PIR either he will be dying for a treat, or not want, seewts anymore! lol

Had to laugh....my son's last letter stated that they all get a big kick out of the fact that us moms are like "stalkers" because we know what's going on there before they tell us. lol.. ie:  it's snowing there,. heard everybody is sick. etc. glad we can make them laugh.

judge thats funny. When I recieved my "I'm a sailor call" I asked how battlestations went. He said he wasnt allowed to talk about it, so I told him about the CNN video I found on here. I even knew which class he would be in before he did. also from here. He thought it was funny, at least I got a smile out of him. They are so serious after PIR

I am sure that is true!!:) LOL

BUDs Class 293 starts Hell Week tomorrow night. They will be in need of your prayers and blue candles.

sjtina, Does this have anything to do with our SR's?  I will sure pray for them regardless.  And what is this about blue candles?  Thanks.

Light a Blue Candle for US NAVY Sailors anytime, anywhere... when you're missing your sailor, remembering those who've served, or during special national or family holidays/birthdays.

GIMom we light blue candles for Battlestations and other important turning points. Class 293 started HW as the SEAL candidates will in this Division later down the road. I am guessing this will be Class 296.

sjtina, Thank you for this information.  I really want to learn the "Navy way".  I love the idea about the blue candle.  I thought no one was allowed to know when Battlestations happened.  How do we know when to light the candle for that.  You really are an awesome help. Thank you.

They are no longer posting Battlestations dates, but you will know when it gets here. If not I will let you know in private when I find out.

Thank you sjtina.  You really are awesome.  I saw on the RTC FB page that someone posted that their SR was "doing Battle Stations tonight".  And someone else told them that was not allowed to delete it.  That doesn't sound good.  I really do appreciate your vast knowledge of all that is going on.
