My son is also on Ship 11 Div 102.

I think they were just able to write this past sunday, I will check mail on Wed/thurs. Heard most recd mail on Thurs. I think I will tell my mail lady to Honk if I get a letter from Great Lakes!!!! That way I wont have to stalk her.

OK fine.. Im going out to check the mail right nowl!!! lol

If anyone on the RTC facebook page, they have Tues. Trivia and person that wins gets to have a picture taken of their division. So go check it out and plan to play next Tues. Its easy and fun. My husband got close. They post question at 12 noon central time. They also have a forums group with some more 11/102 moms!!

My nephew is in this division. I am a proud mom of a sailor who graduated 11/4/11. He is stationed in Norfolk. Now my nephew is going through this same process. I am very proud of both of our young men :) Hooyah!!

Hi my daughter in on ship 11 div. 102 to. I'm new to this...

I understand what you mean.  My husband is full time Army National Guard.  I'm used to him being gone and having my sons around to help me out.  My oldest son married this year and moved out now my next oldest is off with the Navy.  It's like I'm starting all over, home alone with just 3 smaller kids.  Looking forward to hearing from my SR real soon I hope.  I homeschooled them so I'm used to knowing on a daily basis what they were doing, thinking and learning.  The lack of communication is probably the hardest for me especially when I know he is experiencing so many new things and wanting to know his reaction.  All part of turning loose I suppose.

I got a letter from daughter SR. today! Did any others get mail?? Have mixed emotions on letter. She claims she miserable, but then says she loves all the girls, I think females from div 101 in with them at night. Which is good for mine, since she met a great girl at MEPS. I also know this is the worst week for adjusting to BC. So I expect better lettter next week. She did say a possible phone call on Sun. So keep phones in hand!!

all5- same here for our SR, except she was REALLY preparted for how bad it would be due to 6mths away from home in a tough spot last year... i will add you and yours to our prayer list... peace & every blessing! less than 44 days!
