How is he doing? I'm so glad for you. What did he say in general? No letter for me :-(
of course the yelling was expected, just not to that degree... aprox 6hrs of sleep, they get to write on Sun. only... learning to write in all CAPS, the division hasn't learned to work together quite yet, more to do in a day than time to do it...
love ur pupy pic! ((hugs)) mz
Sooo happy for you....tears of joy wishing I would get one too :-)
I received two letters this week. She said that the will get some writing time on Sundays and mail call for them is Tues/Thurs. So lets keep those letters going.
News from 12/097: out of 14 DIVISIONS, they got "sponsored" which means they carry a special flag and will get t-shirts... congrats to our 097! ... keep praying that they learn to work together quickly to get done all that needs to be done! amen sistas (and anyone else reading)
ps. include a S.A.S.E. with each letter for your SR to get those letters coming home : )
YAY...This is great news. My daughter is in this division and ship. Great News.
I am new Navy mom and oh so very proud, my son left for BC on 1/25/2012, and still no form letter, but received a 2 page hand written letter from him today..yipppeee! We have had no word other than the cardboard hamper that came in the mail just days after he left. I am so relieved as he sounds wonderful, loves the food, classes etc. "Killed" the swim test (his words), all so very positive. Not a word about missing us or his life left behind! Have to tell you my son hardly speaks let alone writes and his letter was very discriptive, my husband and I had to read it over and over again, he already sounds different ( in a very positive way) Can't wait to hear about your letters that are coming. Hugs and Prayers to all.
yaaaaay! so excited for you! i'm wondering if you rec'd his ship/div and PIR date from recruit? all that info was on our form letter...if you just got it now from his letter, you are a very patient, full of peace woman! : ) thanks for you post and welcome aboard!
Our son also got to GL on Jan. 25th, we have not gotten a hand written letter yet. thanks for sharing!
