Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 141 and 142.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

he misses being out,and his family. But he seems to be doing ok. Me on the other hand misses him a lot. But I am proud of him.

Its tough, for sure!  I began to feel better when my son's sense of humor started showing up in his letters.  But we don't have long now!  Where is your son going to A school?

I don't know, he didn't say. where is your son going?

My daughter is as well.  She said she's staying really busy which is good.  Makes time go by faster I suppose.

my daughter is on ship 14 div 142

Lilmary, did you get to talk to your daughter on Saturday and have you received any letters from her yet?

Has anyone gotten letters - aside from the form letter - from their SRs yet?  Also, any idea what training day they may be on?

No letters yet, I was so bummed when I got home from work today and there was nothing.  I hope we all receive something before this week ends.    I know when I talked to  my daughter  on Saturday she said they were struggling as a division.  I'm hoping things are getting better for them all by now.   Everything I have read so far said it's normal for the division to struggle the first couple of weeks.  Keeping them all in my prayers!!!  Hope somebody received some good news today, fingers crossed!!!

I got about 5 letters in yesterday's mail here in Texas. She told me their actual training day started on the 20th. We also got her phone call on Saturday and also earlier for bank info. She had been crying too, on both phone calls and on Saturday she wanted to come home, but her dad told her to keep her head up and keep going, it's only a few weeks left. Then she goes to A School in SA at Lackland AFB, so at least she'll be a driving distance away, where there are also relatives :)

I have not received any letters yet, but when I talked to her on Sat she had received some of ours. I think she mentioned writing so I hope to get something this week :) On Monday I think they were on 1-4 or 1-5. Im guessing today they are on 2-1 or 2-2.

NEW PICS posted at https://www.facebook.com/#!/NavyRecruitTrainingCommand - anyone recognize an SR?

no, not really, very hard to see their faces, is ok someone else will recognize their SR and that's great. I hope you get letters this week, my son said because of his schedule he was starting to write this past Sunday and pick some of the mail he got. He said that like Chrissy's daughter said the Div is having a hard time and getting punish for it. I hope everything gets better this week, prayers for all!!
