Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 141 and 142.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

MomToSR-Roberts ~ I, too, was wondering about the Captain's Cup.  Was kinda hoping Public Affairs (do I have that right?) might post something for us...if not I guess we'll find out on Friday.

HI, I can't believe I just recently found this group after all of these weeks my son has been in BC. My son is on Ship 14/ Div 141 and PIR on 4/5. Has anybody heard from their Recruit yet?

No not yet.

Hi Carissa, no calls yet, my son is Ship 14 Div 142, welcome to the group, sorry you found us so late, but better late than never.

Thank you so much Icelsa. Hopefully we will here something by tomorrow. Looks like Ship 13 has been making I'm a Sailor calls so hopefully our SR's are next :)

My son is in Ship 14 Division 142 also.

My SR said to expect a call tomorrow at 4pm. We have landed in Chicago and can't wait til Friday

Thank you so much. I wish we were up there already. The wait is driving me crazy. We should be up there by Thursday evening. Driving from Cincinnati :)

HI everyone. Can't believe it but I just received another letter from my son. Thank goodness it made it before tomorrow when we will be going up to GL. It's funny because he wrote it on Saturday and said that all the guys were looking at him funny because he was writing a letter so close to their last week, haha!! Did get some sad news though. He said he was talking to the Chaplan and was told that he will probably have to ship out this Saturday at 3am because he has A school in Mississippi. Was really hoping to have more time with him. Sooo can't wait till Friday!!!! Hope we all get phone calls today :)

Awesome idea! Instead of rising early I will probably just stay up all night, hahaha!!! Anybody want to meet for drinks while I wait to meet my son at the airport, LOL!!!  He is attending his A school. Honestly, my husband remembers what city it's in. I know my son is going to not miss the weather in GL. We live in Cincy area now but we have been used to the weather in Atlanta. He is def not going to miss all the snow, haha..

Chrissa... Should hear something in a few hours.

Connie, crossings fingers.. I sure hope we do. :)
