While I'm on here, and not stalking, I have a question for the vets. My son said in one of his letters that there was 10 Divisions graduating 4/6. I copied and pasted what the navy boot camp website says about there only being 7. in his phone call, he told me there really was 10 and that he wasn't sure where the information about 7 came from, but they have been practicing and there is 10 Divisions. Do you think the extra 3 are the 900 Divisions that will be performing at his PIR?
trandles - it wouldn't be SO bad, but I missed his only other call... killed me... I have my fingers crossed for tomorrow... at least maybe tonight I will sleep... we are leaving out from here Wednesday 3PM - when my husband's gets off work - we are bringing my 78 yr father so we might need to stop somewhere (half way) - not terribly far but... can't wait to see our son... the sailor ... & meet everyone
tlwbetz - I have a son in that divison also. He called and we talked for about a minute but he said the whole divison passed. Several other SR's have said the same thing. So I think Dani is right he probably had watch but they are all Sailors. Some of them said they should get to call next week sometime. So we shall see. I am so sorry you didn't get a call.
removed thank you Dani... yes that is what everyone on the main group was saying...
Your son may have had watch while they were calling? I'm not sure, but usually that's why they miss expected calls and such.
Also, I'm not positive, but I think I read somewhere that we're not supposed to post last names, so someone may get onto you about that.
Congrats to all the new Sailors and their families, you survived ;-)
CONGRATS TO ALL THE NEW SAILORS!!!!
For anyone still wanting to write letters, be sure to copy them and take those with you in case they don't receive them. They are forwarded...but we all know how that goes!
