Amac23. My call from my son didn't come until right at 5 PM, eastern time. That's about the time I remember other moms I've become friends with indicated their kids called. I forgot exactly what my son said they did after BS and before he called but I know he was munching down on a couple candy bars and drinking a Mountain Dew Code Red. He was in heaven! Hope your call comes sooner than later.
Amac23 - I am so there with you! I am so amped up right now, you couldn't tell I barely slept last night. I am sure I will crash later when the excitement wears off. That is if it wears off before next Friday. I am not so sure.
Aaaaahhhh..ladies!! I am just going crazy today waiting for that call. I hardly slept last night!! Here's to some new sailors today and hopefully a nap later!!
Congrats to everyone on the Sailor calls yesterday.
hi ladies, when my sailor called yesterday he said his division had the CO gold flag, and his division was considered 1st out of 7,, is this the best flag that they can earn,,,,
Good Morning ladies! I will definitely be back later, have stuff going on this morning.
Ditto what Lala said, FTLW! You have been THE BEST on this site! Thanks so much!
Right now, the families in 03/30/2012 are making their way to RTC. There are 14 divisions in that PIR group...the largest I have seen since being on this site over 2 years! It will be a PIR hall full of excited families/sailors....lots of excitement.
In just another week, this will be what you all will be doing. It will be one of the most exciting days of your lives...just a smile planted on your faces all day!
If anyone on here will not be at PIR, please post that. Make sure to include your division number. Your sailor will need/deserve hugs and congrats from others in that division, and these ladies will be the ones to do that! I know they will also be very happy to take piks of your sailor and send them to you (maybe even pass their cell off to that sailor for a quick call home). You can private message names to the person in the division who will look for your sailor. No names on this page please...but private message is fine.
Hoping for calls this afternoon from 111/112! Congrats to 109/110!
Good morning everyone, Congrats to all the wonderful new Sailors and their fabulous families :-) I hope you all are ready for the weekend. I am subbing in HS Art today. I will have my step-daughter as a student lol. I am taking my work with me lol. I love subbing in high school art. They don't care if you are crafty and making beautiful things for beautiful people :-)
That is hard to believe FTLW. You are doing a wonderful job helping out on this site and we really do appreciate your help :-)
Congrats to all the new Sailors and their families!!! Hope everyone else gets their call soon.
Love the cartons FTLW!!
