Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

A quick note here: Last Names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

Comment by tlwbetz on April 9, 2012 at 12:22am: we left Midway airport around 1 PM today headed back home - got back here (home) around 9 PM - exhausted but a great GREAT great weekend... it is nice that our son/sailor has his cell phone now - when he got to FL, he was able to call us briefly to let us know he got there... I was thrilled with everything! We stayed at the Navy Lodge and everyone was super nice, went to the meet & greet at Sarge's - he was equally as nice, and everywhere we went people were super understanding and complimentary... oh and by the way - I now own enough NAVY gear for us all - a house flag, a car flag, a keychain, several shirts, a license plate holder, a lapel pin, anchor necklace, earrings, and I am seriously considering my a small anchor tattoo! I am gaga for the Navy - love what they have brought out in our son... any questions, ask me directly I will share ... oh and by the way be sure to send extra phone cards with them to boot camp - if they run out &/or run out of $ - things are get pretty TIGHT - no one is willing to "share" at the end... love each other like brothers but not when it comes to certain things... well, goodnite for now -

Comment by Teach on April 8, 2012 at 6:56pm: When did HM sailors fly out? My SR is HM going to San Antonio and PIR is this Friday...YEAH...

He told us yesterday that his classes don't start for 10 days in San Antonio so he will be held at GL until then. Did that happen to anyone this weekend? I'm thinking he is confused and will fly out now and be held in San Antonio until classes begin.
