For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

LOL they are like oh geeze there she goes again. Anyway the dates can not be posted. But if I understand it, if say you find out there is battlestations on a Monday, it would be 8:00 pm Monday night until * am Tuesday morning. Then depending on when calls are scheduled you will receive one Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday. Private Message Diannep she has better info and can answer your questions

With my work I just need to know ahead of time so I don't have 18 little faces staring at me when I get the call (I am a teacher). Wouldn't that be a great sight, me probably crying because I will be so happy to finally hear his voice after over 7 weeks and them not knowing what is going on. So, to try and avoid that I wanted to try and plan for it! Any help I could get would be great! Thanks!

So confused! Also general post for all. Do you know what time the phone calls from our SR's typically will start being received after battlestations? Thanks!
