Good Morning All!! I am still here if it counts. It been a rough couple of days. My husband had to go to the ER. He had chocked on some food that was hot and ended up buring the back of his throat so it starting swelling and couldnt breath. The gave him some pain meds and made sure that his airway was not blocked. Now he is on a liquid diet for the next for days, still hard for him to swollow. At least he cant yell or talk that much. lol. But the good news is we got three letters from Michael!! Well one was the copy of his life ins. He sent one to his little sister telling me to stop sending cards and stop buying Navy stuff. He says it but extra stress on him knowing i am buying Navy stuff, because he hasnt even made it through boot camp. So i guess i will stop with the cards and buying things. But i will write letters everyday. I got the cards on the days its been crazy so he could at least get something. Oh well Its Friday and we only have 4 MORE FRIDAYS TO GO!!!! Have a Great Day!!
Oh, I get it now! Hahaha. Wow...so that's really it.
You think you understand what being 'proud of someone' is until this experience. How I love that man <3
I think he means R-POC and was just trying to spell how it sounds for you.
R-PAC=RPOC=(officially)RCPO...and it IS cool!
Here's what he wrote:
"I was also elected to be "ship staff", which means I'm in a select group of well-behaved people that take care of the ship. I was also asked (voted) to be R-PAC which is kind of the leader. Cool huh!"
Very adorable...but confusing.
I am wondering if I am correct about what he is. His letter looks like it says "R-PAC'. I had asked about it on another forum and was told he probably meant RPOC. But maybe it's something different??
Wow, I just saw all of this great information now. Had work all day. Thank you for the love, support, and explanations. Now to read these links!
Question for veteran moms: I received a letter from my son today. He mentioned his passed his first PFA running test but failed the push ups. He could only do 20 out of 50 required. He mentioned something about getting a 4.5 on the first test. What does a 4.5 mean? Also, his PIR is 4/6 and I'm concerned that he will not be able to meet the 50 pushup requirement in such a little amount of time.
I tellyou what amac23, I will do the hoping for you :-) I hope he gets to call, I hope he gets to call, I really hope he gets to call :-) My fingers are crossed for ya too.
