Congrats Rmwjcpa!!! Glad you got a letter!!
Whew - I did receive a letter finally today!! It was very short ( one page) but he did say his dvision would be able to call home today between 5-6. Also, he filled out two of the questionnares that I had printed from this site (thanks for letting us copy those). He really liked getting them. He sounded good overall and has passed his physical tests etc. I guess he has trouble making his bed - that does not surprise me in the least! Let's hope for those calls!
Diannep, I guess it could be something small like a cavity that has cropped up since his last visit. I did ask him about it in a letter I mailed today.
"waited" not "waiting!"
Andrewsmom: They take care of any dental procedures that may pose a problem when they are on a ship...better to get it done now. My son actually waiting until at his first duty station and had a gum procedure done. But normally, they try to get most done at bc. Seems strange that he already had his wisdom teeth out though and still is having work done, even after regular dentist visits? Maybe you can write and ask him.
Good morning. Thanks all for the birthday wishes. For those veteran moms....I have a question. What is up with all the dental visits the recruits make? I'm not sure why Andrew has had to have some dental work because his dad didn't think to ask him. He had his wisdom teeth out a couple years ago and goes to the dentist on a regular basis. It just seems unusual.
Trandles. my sons first letter was down and out, but when i got his second letter he was doing better. i didnt expect my son to write at all and i have gotten 3 now. so i am excited. happy for all the calls and mail. Sorry fo the ones who missed their calls or no letters. hang in there we only have 5 More Friday til PIR 04-06-12!!!
trandles: I bet he has received some of those letters by now. Many times, the letters "cross in the mail." Just know that when you receive a "down" letter from him, by the time you receive it, things most likely are much better. Bootcamp is up and down emotionally for them....it hurts our mommy hearts....but just know that you will LOVE the outcome when you see him at PIR. It will be a "good thing!" The RDCs sure know what they are doing!
