for
~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Good Morning! Special calls come in this afternoon for some of you. I'm thinking possibly 137-140, but not sure on that. Pretty sure on 137/138, but not sure if 809 went instead of 139/140. All of these divisions need to have phones available this afternoon for that potential I'm a Sailor call. They could begin as early as 2 pm Central time!
Jennie: My guess is that you show up at the MeetandGreet with it, but not sure (for those who don't know, Sarge raffles these baskets off and the money received helps him with his MeetandGreet expenses).
brittany: The A Schools normally go on Stand Down during Christmas holidays. Students may route a chit to use their Leave days to leave the base.....the chit must be approved but usually not a problem for most. Not sure of the qualifications to "phase up" but your sailor will be advised of this in INDOC upon arrival on A School base. It usually takes about 3 weeks, I believe, to phase up enough to leave the base. It's best to wait for your sailor to provide the info to you!
Can someone explain Christmas holidays while in Pensacola A school? Or link a page containing the information? I read it somewhere, but I can't seem to find it again! Also, what are the qualifications to switch phases in A school? Thank you!
Hi - its been a while since I have been able to sit at my computer to be on this site-I am not so smart phone savvy to figure the mobile sight out--
I am putting an Oregon basket together for meet and greet and will probably just email or message Sarge but wanted to know if anyone knew do we just show up with it at M&G or arrange a drop off?
Thanks for any info!
Hello All!
"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am Your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."
Isaiah 41:10
