Yes, shannon, I believe that he should be phased up by then...but of course, no guarantees since for discipline, they will delay their phase ups!  But he may be motivated to be "a good boy" since he knows you are coming up there in June! 

:-)

Not sure if he would be allowed overnights by then, but he should be able to go off base during the weekends.

Thanks diannep! He will be heading there sometime after April 11 :) We were thinking of going in mid June. Do u think that will b a safe time? That will make it almost 2 months there? It stinks bc alot of places are already gone we wanted to book...

shannon:  They have to phase up in A School before they are allowed off base during the weekend.  Usually takes about 3 weeks or more.  They may be allowed to have on-base visits before then.  Depending on how long his A School is, he may be there long enough to have overnight weekend visits within a certain radius of the base.  Once he goes through INDOC upon arrival at his A School base, he will have more info for you.
