N4M's Community Guidelines

OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Ahhh, Kimba.  I'm so very sorry....but so glad that he got to talk to his Dad, and hope that you can hear what he had to say!  It happens...seems that most miss calls at some point.  Hope he can call again soon!

Good Morning!

Well I guess it's my turn to have missed a call. Yesterday I had about 25 people at my house for a 95th bday party and missed a call from my SR. I am such a dope I had the ringer off! The phone was right in the kitchen! I am kicking myself now. He left a message and said the made it through hell week and he was going to try to call his Dad, which he did..but because I had the ringer off I missed the call from his Dad telling me about the call. Hopefully I can reach him today. When I listen to his message I just want to hit that "call back" button and give him a call. Any news on div 140 in a PM would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone, we got a call from our SR today! Woot-Woot!  He sounded really good and so positive!  He had so much to say, I tried taking notes, He said there was some mistake last Sunday so mail didn't get sent. we should be receiving double this week. 139 is doing really well!  He was really happy and looking forward to the upcoming challenges. he said Monday will be 4-5. in 2 weeks they'll do their last PFA.Guess I'm a bit late to the party, I see you all have posted most of the same info.  So excited for our SR's

Just got a call from my SR in Div 139.  By the way, he said there was a mix up last Sunday with the letters going out from his division, so no letters went out.  This coming week we should get double letters.
