Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

N4M's Community Guidelines
and
OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Sherry ,Praying for your family and that baby stays put until he/ she is healthy enough to meet mama. Seeing as though she cant go I would take lots of pictures and bring a computer so she can Skype with him while hes with you on liberty. Sending lots of prayers and hugs your way.

PRAYER REQUEST: My daughter Kortnee went in to pre-mature labor on Tuesday night, she is only 28 weeks along and was having contractions every 2-3 minutes apart. She went to the hospital and the Dr. gave her a shot to make them quit and has put her on bed rest for the next 8 weeks (that's a long time). He said she can ONLY get up to shower 1 time a day and to go potty, that's it! No cooking, cleaning, getting the baby room together, shopping, and unfortunatley that includes no going to GL to see her little brother graduate/PIR. Thankfully enough we have a good support system here with my family and church family but pray that their needs are met and that baby Levi gets to go full term. Pray this doesn't happen again and that she can have peace about not getting to go see her brother, she really wanted to go more than anything!  Pray that Jordan will take good care of her, he already does, but just pray that he goes above and beyond.

Thanks guys,

Sherry

VictorsMama,

Hoping you receive a letter from your SR letting you know he's just busy as he has responsibilities or is just dog tired~~   Remember, "no news is good news!"

Correct, ARDO605:  135/136 will complete training including BattleStations first!  They probably will have about a week after that before PIR if they go when I think they may go.

@Victorsmom our SRs are in the sam div. It was about two weeks ago when I last spoke to my son. He told me then that the next call would be about three weeks down the road. The busiest days of training were just ahead for them. He also told his GF that since div 135/136 were the first at basic training that will likely be the first to complete battle stations and have down days prior to PIR, with extra time if needed to pass the PFA.
Keep the faith and remember the Navy saying no news is good news.
