N4M's Community Guidelines
and
OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Kitchen Kimmi - I live in southern Calif and I didn't feel any of the earthquakes.  It seems I missed the excitement.  I haven't listened to the news because I have been busy working so much overtime.  Thanks for filling me in.

Mitch's Mom,  The M&G has not yet been posted for this group. When it is it will be in the event column which is on the left side of this page toward the bottom. You may have to click "view all" to see it.

There is also plenty of time for your son to pass the push up portion of the PFA.

Thoughts and prayers your way.

How do we register for the meet and greet? This information may have been posted already and I missed it. Also I could use some positive thoughts sent my sons way. He was placed on SIQ for an ankle injury and reading through the feed I fear he may not get to PIR because of not passing push-UPS. Reservations are made and the idea of postponing seeing him really makes me sad. Saying lots of prayers!!!!

Hi everyone. For those going to stages meet and greet are those in div 135/136 wearing any color in particular? I know others are wearing different colored scarfs. :)

Hello Friends!

Arkey:  If your SR has not passed the PFA by their division's BattleStations day, they are to call and tell you not to come to PIR unless you receive another call from them saying they passed.  Some have not received this 2nd call, but went to PIR anyway.  They were not allowed into PIR and did not get to see their SR.....lets hope that no one in this group gets the "I didn't pass my final PFA" call!
