~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Good Morning! Happy PIR Day! Hope most of you are on your way there by now. Enjoy this very special day!
good afternoon to all. Hope everyone is doing great. I made on Amtrak it was fun and beautiful but next time I am getting a sleeper. I am at the Motel 6 Waukegan. It good so far. For those coming in tonight Yes the air is pretty cold. but then again I am a spoiled California brat. the Best Western in Gurnee, IL I drove by it and it looks nice and comfy. I am so excited I hope everyone got a call Day before yesterday and Yesterday. I was so Happy to speak to my little Brother Yesterday was his Birthday. I sang Happy B-day to him fro Chicago Union Station and some complete strangers joined in. I t was soooo cool I go teary eye. I could hear he got a bit chocked up. I hope to meet as many people as possible tonight at Sarge's. I was thinking of wearing my Disney Name tag since it has my name. Well we are just hour away Thanx to all our veteran friends for all they do. See ya tonight.
Woo-hoo, you guys are almost there. In 24 hours you will be with your sailors!!!!! Congrats....
Good Morning!

and will continue to make You known in order
that the love You have for Me may be in them
and that I myself may be in them."

Safe travel today! Enjoy the MeetandGreet tonight and be early for PIR tomorrow! Remember, gates open at 6:30 a.m.....
My last hint, again, for those driving: Stay to the left on Buckley Rd and pass by RTC.....car line will be on your right. Turn around past RTC and head back towards it. Easy left turn into RTC then...no wait! We have had this confirmed recently from some in earlier PIR groups! Sarge will most likely tell you about this at his MeetandGreet...it is HIS hint!
