Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

So hope he starts to feel a bit better, Lala.  Also hoping that the CAT scan didn't show anything that won't heal on its own!

He is about the same momofsix, still in a lot of pain, going to go to a doctor on Monday. My days are so mixed up I thought today was Sunday for a while lol so that's why I typed he was going to the doctor tomorrow.

so happy for my son in P'cola, his fiancee in 923 called, too :)  SO much better than when my son went through, and they won an academic flag and their RDC Still wouldn't let them call!

Congrats to 923 on the calls!  Those performance divisions could teach a thing or two to the other divisions about team work! LOL  Here's just another example of how the arts help make better thinkers and cooperative humans :)

congrats div 923 on all the phone calls! I'm hoping to hear from my SR this weekend. She got to call last Sunday and then again on Wednesday---both times, less than 5 minutes!!!!! There's so many things I would like to say/ask, but then all of a sudden---Good Bye!  I was really bummed when I didn't get a letter today! I know, I shouldn't expect it, and I really don't, but.... I keep thinking there's always that chance. right? I'm glad some of "us" got calls anyway. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and having great weather.  How's your son, Lala?

Thanks so much everyone, we appreciate all the prayers :) He is starting to feel a little better today but he is still in a lot of pain. He is going to the doctor tomorrow and have them look at the CAT Scan.

momofsix, it was way too nice here today to not get out and do some yard work. It was 76 here and a nice warm wind blowing. I soaked in some vitamin D :) and now back to ribbons as soon as I finish dinner, grilled shrimp from our visit to VA Beach to see our Sailors. YUM!!!

Apparently the whole division is calling again
My SR decided to call her grandmother today since we just talked. My mo was so surprised
Comment by D'sMomMary on March 16, 2013 at 5:35pm

I'm guessing different 923s are getting to make calls on all these days? Or is the whole div calling every time? If so, then, wow they must be doing great!

Comment by Rocky143(ship 2 Div 923) on March 16, 2013 at 5:32pm

Man your phones 923ers! Division is making call again :)
