Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 155 - 156

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

"Got my first call from my daughter today! Greatest phone call I've ever gotten in my life! She mentioned that she's been talking to SR about navyformoms.com! So I'm pretty sure her proud mama is in here somewhere too!"

What is the basket and poster thing?? I'm behind. I'm a nurse and been working a lot. Not a lot of time on the site lately. I Have heard from my girl though by phone and letters. Makes my heart happy! She too has a little cold but said she was ok. I was just wondering though whats the baskets and do we just make our own door posters?? Are these for the hotel? We booked at Navy Lodge. Anybody else? Hope you all are well. I'm getting excited about our trip to GL.

the basket is a raffle for Sarge's meet and greet - to help offset the cost of the evening on Sarge's behalf - some folks make them state themed.

the poster is for the door at the Hotel.  To give a congratulatory "Shout Out" to your Sailor.  Kinda like a welcome home poster.

I'm staying at the Navy Lodge!!  30 days!! YAY

Where did you get a poster??
Hi navy mom's my son is in ship 11 Div 156. Just wanted to say hello to any other mom with someone in that div. So far I have received 1 letter & 2 phone calls. My plane ticket have been purchased but still working on hotel & car. We're unable to do the meet & greet kinda sad about that. Also a Texas mom!

Hi my son is also in ship 11 Div 156 and he has called 3 times and I have gotten 2 letters.  He sounded great, and is doing better.  They are heading into Hell week, hoping all goes well with that.

Hi there!! My son did tell me a little of what's to come. He sounds excited about it. I on the other hand I'm praying all goes well for him. I also find it amusing that he tells me what his favorite uniforms are and hates his tiddy whities.
Hi blitz1201!! I'm from Houston/ Katy area. My son will be heading to San Antonio for A school. So grateful for that because he was originally going to stay at great lakes. Hopefully it doesn't change. And yes time has passed pretty quick so there half way through.
Hey there Texas mom. My daughter is in Div 156 as well. She has called 3 times and I've received 3 letters. She sounded really good yesterday. She said good things about their division and sounded proud to be with her group. We are gonna spend a little extra time in GL as our daughter is staying there for A school. Looking forward to meeting all you fellow navy parents. Hope you have a great warm day in TX It's freezing here this am. 28 degrees in TN!!

My son is in Ship 11 Div 156 also.  He said the same thing about the division.  He will be going to Mississppi for A school.  Just excited about seeing him.

My son is heading to A school in San Antonio. I'm so thankful for that because originally he was going to stay in Great Lakes. He will be close to me & I can visit him often.
