~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Hi Everyone! Wondering: Has anyone notified Sarge that we are bringing baskets for the chinese auction and are planning to do the 50/50. He just put up a page with a schedule and thought maybe he should know we are doing this ...... oh, and maybe a table can be set up for the baskets?
Thanks CatMom509 and ellen0502! I went and bought a box of those vacuum seal bags that compress clothes, so I will add a few more of her civilian clothes to the suitcase. I was just going to include a few meds that would get her through a day. Figured she'd be able to buy more if needed. Just thought a few things to have on hand just in case. I over-prepare for everything!!
Thank you NavyMom2014! Got it!!
Here you go!
Good Morning Sisters. I have a question. Where do I go to print out a gate pass. I have my password I just don't know where to go and print it out.
Have a wonderful day!
GOOD MORNING MY NAVY SISTERS. CAN I GET A HOOYAH, HOOYAH FOR 8 DAYS, 23 HOURS & 20 MINUTES TO PIR!!!!!! If my timing is correct div 154 should be on 6-2 today meaning they took their final pfa yesterday, today is the final written test and tomorrow is the gas chamber. I am going to assume that they all passed the final pfa so no calls at this point is a good thing. Do you think they will let them call this Sunday since its Easter? So anxious, excited , nervous, and praying for good traveleing weather from SC on next Wed morning. Sending prayers, and claiming victory for all the SR's that they kick butt this week and come through battlestations like champs. have a beautiful day ladies!!!! the finish line is in site now. They got this!!!! Looking forward to meeting you all.
LALA is it too late to order my ribbons for next fridays graduation. I sent you a message? thanks
Good Morning!
KierstinsMom, She can have the OTC meds, but don't go overboard with what you take to her. Maybe some Tylenol just so she has it right away, but the NEX on base has everything they may need in the future.
KierstinsMom,
You can probably pack more of her civilian clothes unless you don't mind shipping her more later in A school and paying for it. Don't forget her cell phone, cell phone charger, and the ac adapter cord for her laptop, maybe some favorite snacks from your area~~
Sorry, I can't answer the OTC meds question, but I'm sure another veteran mom can answer that in the morning~~
