Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Lizziebear0803,
You've got MY prayers!! May your birthday card and gift be graciously received~~
Hello Everyone~~
"I in them and You in Me. May they be brought
to complete unity to let the world know that You
sent Me and have loved them even as You
have loved Me."
John 17:23
Absolutely love your positive attitude Lizzie - God has his ways of talking to us, will keep you in Prayer ~ I stand with you and believe she will appreciate you for taking the time to send her a card on her birthday :)
clap, clap, clap ~ ~ 9 days left!! WoooooHooooo!!!!
Lizziebear, I think that is a good idea. It is always best to try and keep piece in the family. Helps with your relationship with your husband too. You are doing what you need to do and hopefully your mother in law will appreciate the thoughtfulness and perhaps think over the situation and send some love your way....Good luck!
And OH MY GOSH single digits :) (high fives ladies all around)
Good morning wonderful mothers,
I truly am so appreciative of the words you ladies have given to me during this stressful two weeks. I am most certain my time now is a season of trials and clinging to the Lord has been the best thing for me to not go crazy. I was driving home yesterday from petsmart when a still voice told me I needed to actually send my mother in law a birthday card, which I wasn't going to do at all. I told one person this and honestly, I know it's from God. The voice told me to write "This journey has been hard for everyone a part of (SR's name) life. Just want you to know I respect and love you dearly despite of whatever was said because I'm thankful you kept Josh and raised him those years alone. Go enjoy a massage on me before the big day :) ". I am asking for prayers as I send this card out in the mail tomorrow in hopes she would at least say thank you :)
If not, that's okay at least I tried reaching out :)
programs: This PIR group will not start BattleStations until towards week's end and then continue during PIR week. There will be some I'm a Sailor calls towards the end of the week for some divisions, but the rest will be calling next week.
BattleStations usually is not what causes them to miss graduating since they can take it again and will pass. However, their final PFA can delay them. They have to pass that one, no matter what they did on the earlier two, in order to do BattleStations...if they do not pass it before graduation, they stay in the FIT DIVISION and keep trying. Once they pass it, they do BattleStations with another PIR group and head to A School....if they miss their own PIR, they do not get another PIR when it is due to failure of a final test (if they are asmoed(setback)into another PIR group, then they would have another graduation).
And, yes, if a PIR date is pushed back for any reason, you should receive a call from your SR....this happened to my son when he was there. If your SR doesn't pass the final PFA by the time his/her division does BattleStations, you should also get a call. Let's hope THAT call doesn't come! :-)
your welcome pammy. keep telling myself just that
