Does anyone have a SR in this Div?  Just got my form letter today

I was hoping for a letter today, but sadly one didn't come.  Maybe tomorrow.  Fingers crossed.

We have a community mailbox that is a few houses down from us,I never used to check it everyday.  I have been checking the mailbox everyday since my SR left, even in the beginning when I knew there wouldn't be a letter.  Then I got the first letter last weekend and now I am rushing home everyday from work to see if there's another.

I can't even imagine how I'll be when we get the 3/4 week call.  We have to be getting close to that mile marker, shouldn't we?

Have a good day everyone!

Hello! I am on high! Not just because of the two awesome margaritas I had lol but because prior to that I received a call from my son! He said he had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled, has been sick for two weeks and bc is tougher than he thought it would be but that this was the best decision he has ever made! He said they get onto them for everything and that there are some sr that can't get it together but he has teamed with some guys that are there to do what they came to do. He said he's heard the F word more than he ever has in whole life. I held it together and did not cry until I got off the phone with him. We go to talk for 15 minutes after I disconnected the first call trying to conference in my husband and daughter. He misses home but he is content with what he is doing. He said that not going to church is not an option cause there's nothing else to do so I'm glad that he went and we should receive letters any day now. He hasn't received my latest letters because someone broke the key in the mailbox. I'm very relieved to have heard his voice and I can't rest tonight.

I am still on a high since the call.  I am so emotional..good grief..I am also thankful that you other moms are getting calls..I will look for a letter today..but the last ones came on Sat. Hope everyone will have a good day..I will I'm happy.

My fiance is in this division i have got 2 letters now and miss him dearly but I got our families to keep me busy and be supportive ! I'm very proud of him and all of them I could never go through that! :) hope all is well with everyone!

Welcome to our Ship/Div where have you been...?? So glad you got your letter all of us have gone through the same thing but we are all here to help each other through.

Do they all get phone calls on the same day. My son was supposed to call yesterday. but we didn't find out until we got the letter today and now are so disappointed that he didn't call. I hope everything is okay. when I heard about the mail key it worried me because he said that he was designated Mail petty officer.  i sure hope to hear from him soon and wonder why he didn't get to call.

I don't know but I think my son said that their are about 76 Sr's in this Div so that's a lot of calls for a limited time so it maybe that the calls are split up..Maybe you will hear something soon

Well I have been writing to my fiance and keeping busy with our families to try and pass time quicker! I find myself having a lot of sleepless nights it has been a week since I slept and I have never dealt with anything like this bootcamp navy stuff before! I know that he is doing this for us and our future but I would love to have him back home hanging out with me everyday again! But then I got online because I missed him Sooo much and I found all of you lovely people here! I thought this would be good for me to guide me! I wonder if he will get a phone call too but instead of maybe calling me I kinda hope he calls his mom because she was Sooo sweet to give his last call home up and told him to just call me when he arrived and I know they miss him dearly too! Ohh how can I load a pic and can it be of me with him on our last vaycay or just me ? I don't want to get him in trouble!

Well I hope you get a call.. It was really nice to hear my so voice..I only talked to him for about 15 min or so he wanted to call his girlfriend and he said that the other SR's were waiting in line to call their folks.. I know how you feel but I know now this is the right road for my son..
