I just got the letter late yesterday.  My son arrived at GL on 3/1.  I thought we might be pushing it to make the 4/27 date, but happily surprised.  Got a GREAT note on the back of the letter... Has he changed this much already that he seems to really miss us?  Wow!

Hoping to connect with other 11/134 moms.  Let me know.  :D  Hang in there!  We're gonna make it, just like our kids!  :D

Mine says he misses us to, but I think that was scripted, not saying yours doesnt but that doesnt sound like my son, lol.

I finally received my PIR FORM letter today... to my surprise.... my son's graduation date is 4/27/12 and he left for BC on 2/29/12... He  is also SHIP II Division 134.... I did not receive a little note but he did draw a goofy smiley face on the letter which is "so" my son's personality... I'm a HAPPY mom today!!!!

Hello, my SR is 11/134 PIR 4/27/12 and i received her box last Thursday and i receive the Form letter Monday...all i could do was cry because i miss her so much but i am proud and hope her division do well.

My daughter left on 3/6 Tuesday and recived her box on Friday.  It was too quick.  I was not ready.  I was holding her clothes close....and going through all of the items in her box like they are gold.  Got her form letter yesterday....so happy to see her handwriting.  Her words..momma I am 100% ok was good to hear but I am sure they were more for my benefit.  She loves and misses us...hearts and smiley faces pics she drew.  C'mon phone call.....waiting.......we will get through this.

Is anyone on Facebook because they have trivia Tuesday and whatever person answer the question correcting they will post a picture of what ever division of your choice on the U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command page so everyone can see the picture.

It will be 2 weeks Monday my daughter would be gone. Im really ready for a letter are a call.

We cannot change the title on this discussion...LovemyBug has too...but I have not seen any activity for her. Would you like to start another Discussion? I can manually transfer all of your posts. It will have my profile pic but I can add yours along with the "reply" info. Then I can close or delete this one. If I close it it folks won't be able to post and it will eventually move down the list here. Delete...it will be gone. Let me know...just post back on here. FTLW
