Hi Yonda,  My daughter left on the same day.  I received the PIR letter with a small note from her on the back.  Good spirits! I received my first letter today from her.  Yours is coming.  Hang in there.  We should be hearing from them next week hopefully.  Sure she is doing well.  We can all do this.

I am reading all these comments about the bumps. Are they getting along with each other. No one is saying much about our ship.

I was told there's 80 women so im sure they are not getting along(lol). My daughter said they have a cool cheif and he said that he will make sure everyone graduate and he want let anyone give up.

Thanks for replying... Im so worried, she is sweet but headstrong when she thinks she is right. I told her to be humble. Hopefully she took my advice. I read alot of them was sick... She is 20 & this is the longest I have not talk to her. I cant wait until pir. Are any of you going. Southwest have good deals.

Mines is the type to stay to herself. She is friendly and very sweet but she keep her guard up. She always over think and i was worried about her over thinking while she is there because she have to get it right r she get frustrated but she said she was okay. Im guessing the entire division is not doing so well but she said the cheif said he was gonna work with them. I wrote and asked her about your daughter so hopefully if u havent heard from her maybe Bianca will let her know ur worried. Me and my family will be driving to Chicago so we can shop afterwards and sit at the airport with her when she leave for A-school.

we are driving also... what day are you leaving... i was thinking on wed. it is 17 hours for me.. my daughter name is netra... thanks so much for asking your daughter.  i have sent so many letters.  i appreciate the modern day technology of just picking up the phone... how did we ever live with out cell phones or computers... lol

Its a 14hr drive for us. We willThursday leave out Wed. Even and spend the nite in Arkansas then get up early Thursday and finish the drive. I talked to my daughter and she said ur daughter was doing fine and she received a letter last nite. She said when she got off the phone she would tell her u was worried because u haven't received a letter but I hope by now u have. I was going crazy until I received her first letter and after that I knew she was okay.

My son is in Ship 11 Division 134... I haven't received a letter to date and he left on 2/29.  Please share what's going on in their division...

@mdamon... i just got three letters from my daughter in the same envelope... she told me that she is in the split division of 133 and 134... there are having major teamwork problems... the CS is not a happy camper but he insured them that he will make sure all of them graduate on time because he has never had a late class and this division will not be his first... she says it is like they are in a sports camp because of all of the pushups they are doing... also as for the mail, if you did not fill out the envelope the way they want it, the letters are returned to them until they figure it out. so be patient... its coming soon... as of right now she said they will not get phone calls until they learn to work together... hopefully this helps... i truly understand how you feel not knowing...

yondaj30... I received a phone call from my SR tonight... no letter yet...  lol... but I so LOVED hearing his voice... he was in great spirits... just strongly dislikes all of the folding...

@ yonda - My daughter left on the same day and in same ship and division.  I have received 2 letters but no phone calls.  First letter she was in great spirits.  She was happy!!  This was after first week of processing.  Second letter was harder to read after week 2 - she had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled.  She is in recovery getting bed rest and on pain meds.  Bless her heart!!  She is really missing us.  Will write her a encouraging letter today.  Been writing her every day.  Hang in there.  Letters should start coming.  We should be expecting to hear from them this week or next week.  Every day that passes brings us closer to seeing them at graduation.

Annamomma, thank you so much for writing back!  Did you get a phone call from your daughter yet?  I am hoping maybe I will get one today. How old is your daughter?  Is she going to graduate on the 27th??  It is just so great to have someone reply back who is in the same division as my daughter.  My daughter is 26 and hopes to finish her degree in clinical psychology, she just loves getting into people's heads - LOL  (HM- hospital corpsman).   Please keep me posted with events of the division and I will do the same.  I have been told that once they are there over four weeks things start to get a little better, but the Battle-station is still the hardest part of the training.  Once again thanks so much.  I will let you know if she calls tonight,  I do,do hope so, I miss her so much.  God bless to all!
