N4M's Community Guidelines

OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Last night we were surprised with a call from SR! It was again only a few minutes and the first call we had with her where she sounded like herself. I could hear the smile was in her voice! It was the best few minutes.

Hope everyone gets that surprise call!

Lala,

Now isn't it nice that your bonus grandbaby time is only a few days??  We forget how much those babes need to be occupied if they don't have their swing, walker, playpen, etc., etc   Face to face and being held by grandma is precious!  The house can wait~~  Hubby can pick up dinner and other things to take the load off too~~  Oh, yea, there's grandpa time too!!

Thanks so much, I am really enjoying her for sure. She has this silly little laugh that she is doing and it cracks me up. We are on facetime each night with her mom and I send her pics and videos throughout the day. It won't be long now until she comes back to get her then I will be the one missing her. One things for sure, I am not as young as I used to be so there's not getting a lot of other things done like housework lol but my hubby is great about helping with that :) I work on my business while she naps and after she goes to bed at night. Good thing I was ahead on all that already lol.

Woohoo got a couple of letters today. He sounds great. He has two jobs, plus they have moved him to Leadership Row. What ever that means? His calves are hurting and he is marching holes in his socks. lol, I have already told him to make sure he has good socks on all the time. And his calves hurting surprises me, because he ran a lot getting ready for boot camp, I can't wait to see the little stud he has turned into.Wait did I say that? My baby boy is growing up and it is exciting for me to see him make his way in this world on his own. I am so proud of him.
