While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 173 and 174.
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Hello Irene, Thanks for the reply. Yeah, that second web address is odd. The only reason I'm so curious as to what it leads to is because it sounds like it is more specific to their divisions versus the first address that is more general relating to the RTC. Hmm, hopefully we're not missing out on anything. I'll let you know as well if I hear anything. :)

Hi Cate. I had one of our investigators try it today and it went straight into the same info as the other website. Maybe it is a shortcut or something. If you email that tinyurl info to someone it comes up to them where they can click into it. I did print out my parking pass. Don't forget to do that. I can't believe it is finally next week. I look forward to meeting you all.

Hi all, got my Sailor call! Whew! My son and others in 173 got sick, they really had to struggle to keep up the pace and get to PIR. Now this is what we call "shipmates".....when my son threw up all over the barracks floor, other recruits had to help clean it up. Now that has got to the worst. He said others threw up and got it on the racks. Had to change sheets etc. OMG....tough road to the end. So if your son/daughter had a part in this....thank you! Our kids have been there and did things they never thought possible. May all of yours continue to grow from there time in Boot Camp and future experiences. So proud of all those that love this country and serve!

My son is in 173 and is used to cleaning up vomit from his niece and nephew. I'm sure it was nothing new for some of them.
