Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi all, 02/925 received a letter from our daughter today. She says she has a solo part with her Piccalo.

States that they are finally finished with P-days, things will start to get better for them now.... Hopefully phone calls before to long...I hope everyone else got letters from their SR's today...

Well, no letter today -- but I am hoping for one tomorrow.  

I received a letter today!  My son is the Drum Major for the band so Lola I am sure he knows your daughter!  He also mentioned that they were finished with their P days.  So good to hear from him!  Jill I will keep my fingers crossed that you get a letter tomorrow!

Lola how wonderful and proud you must feel!! My daughter said she was so happy to be finished with P-days. She made no mention of all the letters we have been sending, I guess they haven't received any of them yet. Did your daughter mention anything about mail?

she stated she has not recieved anything from us so far but we have sent about 10 letters so far so hopefully she will get some or all of them soon

 

i guess my son's div 811 hasn't gotten to write yet.  i sure wish they would.  glad you got one

I haven't received any letters yet.  I'm also hopeful that I will get one sometime this week!
