NO LETTERS TODAY:( USUALLY COME ON WEDNESDAYS
Oh no!!! My letters usually arrive on Thursday. I don't get home from work until 6:00 p.m. so I won' t know until then.
We are so sad! Our SR daughter called to say she is no longer with Ship 03/Div 139 due to medical. They ripped her name tag off (which we find most inappropriate) before moving her to Ship 05. Would require 1 and perhaps 2 medical waivers (if this is even possible). She really wants to be there...! Please pray for us. Not sure of the way ahead.
Oh no!!! That's so sad. I will pray for her! Please continue to let me know how she's doing!
Thanks so much. We will keep you all informed.
My son’s gf received a letter from him today. It was the best letter we’ve received yet! He asked her to please tell Mom that his division has won three flags: academic, fitness and inspection. He said they are trying to get the marching flag but that it didn’t look good, lol! He said he scored the top of his division on the PFA, a 5.0 on ALL of his inspections, and scored the highest on the first written exam 4.9/5.0. I’m sooooo proud!! The day we normally get mail from him is Thursday but she received another letter Saturday and a letter today! I am hoping I have a letter when I get home from work but I think the “please tell Mom” means he didn’t write me, lol. Honestly, I don’t care... ALL I care about is getting news from him. Especially such good news!!! He also said his bunk-mate is some cool kid from Cali!
We got a phone call (more security clearance info) and his wife got 2 letters today. He said they can mail out anytime now, not just Sundays! Said he's really liking it and time is going really fast. Next week is " Hell week" he received meds for his allergies and it has helped a lot. He didn't get his real phone call when everyone else did cuz he had "watch" during that time so he is going to try to get his phone call Thursday because his wife has her 12 week ultrasound. We've been sending him belly pics for the past few weeks and he says he really enjoys the pictures of her and is looking forward to another ultrasound picture as well:) Let the countdown begin!! woohoo!!
Congratulations on the Grandbaby!! That's exciting! Bet he's loving the bally pics. I sent my son one of his best friend's ultrasound pictures. I was running out of ideas on what pictures to send, lol! I'm so excited about PIR I can hardly function!
We are still waiting as our SR daughter is in SEPS. Nothing back on the waiver yet. Met with the JAG yesterday. Please keep her in your prayers as she really wants to be there! Can't be with 03/139, but hopes to be allowed to train and PIR! She worked with everyone as the EPO and the team won a scholastic flag...then this!
That is so sad!! I will certainly keep her in my prayers!! Please continue to keep me posted.
The random pictures have been posted on facebook- my son is in one!!!! He looks great!!
