~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

I'm sorry Star77, unfortunatly there are so many people that influence our sons,at his age he is following his heart; We know where that leads...I pray for you and your family during this difficult time.

Well ladies, his recruiter confirmed he has been moved from his division. That is all he is able to find out he said. Now I'm hearing he has injured his knee and he will be sent back "home" Monday. I haven't had good communication with him due to turmoil with that girl he is involved with. I can't believe he gets to go on facebook though in holding? Also unfortunate, he would get sent back to AZ instead of real "home" in MN because that's where he left from and that is where that girl temporarily lives with her estranged father. This is crazy I've been receiving this serious information via facebook. All his friends even are still trying to send him messages in hopes he can stay! He only had a couple weeks to go?! I am so upset. I think he probably hurt his knee and maybe the depression came from through that girl wanting him back. And I found out she actually thought she could go live with him at A school?!.. then when she found out she couldn't...this happens. We all just know she had a tremendous amount to do with this. She tried to stop him from even going in. Ugh there has been so much she has done. Anyways, I am having a million different emotions. Mostly anger, sadness and fear for what is next for him. He will have a tough road ahead and especially with that girl. We all believe is so horrible, she is abusive to him. It's so hard when you can't help your child anymore when you see them hurting. I'm praying harder then I ever have, but not feeling positive about it though I'm really trying. Only good news his recruiter told me, if it is just his knee, and he actually is out, he could still go back in after he is healed. Still just waiting and praying... :( Thank you all again...it really means a lot.

Good morning Navy Family, I hope you are all having a great Saturday and doing something fun. Are you planting flowers, working in your yard? Spring is in the air for sure. My Dad and I are heading to a place in SC called Strawberry Hill, The berries are in and I can't wait to taste them. I will be putting a bunch of them in the freezer :) Happy Saturday everyone!

I hope you have heard good news Star, we are all here for you and you and your recruit are in my thoughts and prayers. {{{{{HUGS}}}}

star:  Hoping that all is well, contrary to what you heard, and that training is going as planned.  Normally if he is being separated, you will hear directly from him.  So let's hope that he is good and on his way to becoming a sailor!

Good Morning All !
