CRSmom - Yep, my son shipped to SC on 5/14 for A School.  He, too, is waiting to class up.  He said the same thing - he's doing ALOT of cleaning!  Polishing brass propellors, painting, cleaning floors and stuff.  I look at all this as "Building Character".  :)

My daughter is in A School at Great Lakes. She is waiting to Class up also.
Not too many going into Sonar either, but she is getting more rest now.
She would rather be in school of course. Doing lots of cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. Ha!

It's kinda crazy how quickly they move them out of Boot Camp only to make them "Hurry up and Wait" on the other end.  sigh

Hello all! My son is in A school in Pensacola and he is waiting to class up.  He only knows of 3 others that are the same rate- AE- so it might be awhile before he classes up.

Navy-Girlfriend - My son is still in INDOC - he left 5/14 to go to A School.  He said he could be in INDOC another 3 weeks before A School can start for him!  They're waiting to fill a class - he went to Nuke School.
