Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I will be unable to attend the Meet & Greet at the Ramada, but if you can attend
I would say go. You will then connect with some of the moms from this group.'
They are a wonderful. uplifting group, and you are sure to make at least one new
friend. They look out for each other.
Your sailor is going to be a GREAT Sailor A real asset to the Navy. I know you have very mixed emotions right now, we are all praying for both you and your son.

I TRIED TO REBOOK AT THE RAMADA AND THEY WERE BOOKED:(now I'm going to sprillhills mariot,alittle pricey but that the breaks...I so upset I haven't been able to bond with anyone from 5/13.. this site isnt making it easy since I cant send messages I wish they would fix this...I've only been able to connect with my face book sisters...I had planned on going to the ramada before my son got set back now I'm not sure because I haven't got to bond with anyone:(..on the up side my son is going to be one heck of a Sailor going threw the hell week twice...he was set back two hours before battlestations last thurs and as probally had to repeat everything he did last week this week,so I say he will defently do well tonight at battlestations!! good luck to all who are going!!! may God bless them and guide them to work as a team and a family.GO GET THAT SAILOR CAP,Div170!

Captains Cup is for all divisions in this PIR group.  A very fun day for the SRs and new sailors!

Hello everyone! My son is with Div 810 is there anyone else who has a recruit in that Div? Also, I heard that each Div has their own color and that you are suppost to weat that color ribbon to graduation next friday....has anyone else heard of that.? I am so confussed!!! Help Me please

yes he is 168.  He knows because they were told which divisions they were going through BS with.

 

@judy - yes 167 and 168 go tomorrow night
