It was great being on Navy4moms.  Thank you all.

We didn't get as much time as we wanted, either.  Our sailor was a Saturday departure.  We got to the airport at 3am, got our gate passes, and were able to be with our sailor until his 7am departure.

Home from PIR---thought the graduation was great! However, we didn't get to spend as much time with our sailor as we thought we were going to get. She is staying at GL, for school until Feb. But, something was missing in her medical papers-she was told that they were putting her on a med hold. So she only got 2 hrs of liberty on Fri, Sat and Sun all on base only. I was really bumm and we all wanted to go to my son's place in Chicago for a family BBQ.  All of us were together for the couple of hours on Friday. My husband and I went to my son's on Saturday after seeing her. Her brother is about a hour from her and will be able to visit. I plan on going to Chicago this summer an will see her then. Just wish the weekend would of gone a little better. BUT we did enjoy the time we had.

Wow, sorry I started all that about the airport. I never heard anything about not being able to go, I just wanted to make sure that I did the right thing when I got there. Luckily, my son called us from the USO and told us what to do. We didnt have a problem at all. We stayed until they mustered, then left.
Thanks to all of you for the advice and knowledge during the past 8 weeks. It's been great!

We all had a great time with our sailor. It was very hard to leave him again. But we will be back to see him before the summer is over.

I had a great time at PIR and met some great girls!! Had an amazing time with my sailor and I sure as heck was at the airport!! I didnt hear them say not too and my Sailor said you better be there baby and I was and they gave me, his mom, his step dad and little sister all gate passes to hang out with him. It was hard saying goodbye though :/ I'll be visiting though as soon as he levels up :)
