Ascoobus, unless you order one of the shirts and receive it before PIR, you won't be able to see their division flag until the day of PIR.

Is there a way that we can see what the division flag looks like?

My SR designed the flag for 167 and I want to buy everything I can, but I can't remember where the form was located. Can someone point me in the right direction, please?

Oh okay. Thank you so much. When do they start selling them? I would love to buy some.

Nytesail- the division shirts and hoodies are they something that you are doing or did your SR tell you that they were designing them? I know someone who came back after her brother's PIR and she had a division hoodie that they had designed. I've asked my husband about it but he hasn't told me anything.

janlee- I forgot about the lights, my son too was notorious for that!  I toast you on your Sailors graduation. \~/  I was told not to hang, wear or stick any Proud parent, Mom or other Sailor propaganda until he is a Sailor.  How hard is that!  My Air Force brother in-law told me this.

FYI-I put my order in for the Division hoodies and t-shirts and I was told I would have them in hand by 5.9.11, just in time for PIR.

No phone call yet for any of us at home here from our guy.  Hoping he gets to read his letters today.  They haven't been able to as of yet.  I'm pretty sure he'll have lots of reading to do.

janlee:  Sorry about the dress whites situation. I'm mad that I didn't get more piks of my son in his dress blues at/after PIR.  He had his trenchcoat on most of the time because we were out and about (cold in Feb!).  In fact, he already had it on by the time we reached him right after PIR.  So the formal dress blue picture will have to do!  So glad that you had a good time at his graduation.  Funny about him doing the laundry...I hope you handed him of load of your own and said, "PLEEEAAASE??"

dianne--YES!!  thanks for asking..:) His graduation was very nice. It was so relaxed and personable...nothing like PIR. He is home until friday, then he flies back to CT to resume more schooling. He and all his buddies went out for wings last night and then came back to our house for a bonfire, just like old times...lol Now he is going to visit for a little with family, then spend the rest of the week with his GF. She took this week off of work so she can spend his whole leave with him..

I was disappointed though, dianne (just a little). He graduated in his blues. They told them that they changed to whites a week or so ago (a friend of mines Sailor came home last week in his whites), but because of the weather, they went back to the blues for a short time. Both uniforms look sharp, but i really wanted some new pics with him in his whites..haha...isnt that terrible...lol!!

Its so awesome to hear his voice in the house again...PLUS.... he did a load of laundry already this morning!! i almost fell down over..(but he left his bedroom light on when he left the house...as ALWAYS)...LOL!! I guess its going to take more than the NAVY to get him to shut off a light..:))
