Wow Maggie, a call.  I've gotten 2 letters not including the form letter.  My son went to church Sunday and said it felt good.  He misses the outside world and wants us to write everything that is happening in our lives.  They will be getting a bit more sleep due to inreased workouts coming up, so maybe 4.5 hours. Otherwise all is well and he doesn't think that he will be able to call until some time next week.  They haven't gotten to read their letters yet so he is hoping Sunday will be the day.  His GF has sent one everyday since he left, sometimes 2 and I have sent a handful also.

I am so blessed to have all of you surrounding me in this place.  I read and can feel every emotion, just about.  So now I guess I know how our SR;s feel when they do get to read our letters.  They're not just words, they are emotions, feelings,  our dearest thoughts and the I know just like I do they will read each one again, and again.......Gotta love and cherish our SR'S!!!  :->

janlee: Neither was from my son this morning...but one was an insurance call I expected because of HIM!  Long story.  I actually take a jacuzzi bath so can get the phone quickly without jumping out!  I really hate to have the phone in the bathroom..it is one of my only times of peace and quiet...but such is the world we live in!  Gotta be ready!  :-)

dianne--i do the same thing. I set the phone (and my reading glasses..lol) on the corner of the sink when im in the shower. It rings, i jump out, put on the glasses, if its my son, i answer...if not, i jump right back in..LOL!     What we dont do...

I've resorted to taking my phone into  the bathroom with me all the time, I'm sorry to say.  Just took a shower....2 calls came in during the middle of it...both ones I had been waiting for all morning....Figures....Glad I didn't miss them!
