~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

The box came today. Next the letter!
My guy is in Ship 11 Div 172 anyone else?
My hubby is in Ship 02 Div 927. He isn't musically inclined, so I am assuming he is doing something with the flags or rifles.
keyteelynn, The division would not be 082, possibly 182, or 812? If you sent letters to division 082 they will most likely be returned. Was this on the form letter?
melissa,
Welcome to this PIR group!! First off, if your username has your SR husband's last name in it, it should be changed so a Recruit Division Commander cannot figure out you are your SR's wife. You can just use the initial after your first name. RDC occasionally pop on here to get information from the SR families to mess with them. You will need to go to Settings under your name on the upper left of this page and make the change. Don't forget to click on Save at the bottom after you've changed your name.
Just pop on here into this group at least once a day to see what people have posted about their SRs and to get information on how to prepare to attend your SR's PIR (Pass in Review graduation). You can go up to the Pages section on the upper right to read all the different articles. You should start with the OPSEC info and the "What ARE They Doing in Boot Camp?" and watch all the videos to know what your SR hubby is going through~~
My spouses graduation date is 5/16/14 I was suggested to this group but Kris 's division is still unknown to me we are newly weds and I have no ideA what's going on or how to use this site ! Help!
