Boot Camp Mom's Prayer
God bless my recruit as he meets this day
I pray that he has the strength to find his way
As reveley wakes him so loud and clear
I pray your love will lead him, and he will show no fear
If there's danger and if there's strife
Please send Angels to guard his life
Keep him safe and hold him near
Bless my recruit, I hold him dear
Until he moves on to PIR day
Bring peace to our hearts
And strength to our faith

Chisians'sMom: Glad I found you as well! You're way ahead of me in planning. I haven't gotten that far yet (but should probably be doing it soon, huh?) We'll be doing the same I image (flying in, renting a car). So much to do; am simply running out of daylight before running out of things to do! :)
I received the form letter from my son today and he is assigned to ship04/div 813 with PIR on 5/18. He included a short note that he is doing okay.
I think I read somewhere on this site that the division # identifies the pipeline (thus, 800 division #'s are associated with SO; 900 division #'s are associated with band/music).
