Boot Camp Mom's Prayer
God bless my recruit as he meets this day
I pray that he has the strength to find his way
As reveley wakes him so loud and clear
I pray your love will lead him, and he will show no fear
If there's danger and if there's strife
Please send Angels to guard his life
Keep him safe and hold him near
Bless my recruit, I hold him dear
Until he moves on to PIR day
Bring peace to our hearts
And strength to our faith

NavyBlue, there is no reason to delete anything unless it could embarrass your son. Honestly thats all that will happen. Believe me they get over it, my son was also one who was targeted because I had his picture as my profile. No one warned me and I wish they had. We have a good laugh about it now, but I am sure he wasn't happy with me then.
Hi, I need some help please. How do I add this group to my groups so I can find it easily when I'm on here? Also, can you reply to emails or only here? Thanks
Kieran's mom, once you joined this group it should automatically show up in your groups.
Just now I was able to get on this group directly after clicking on the link from the email, but when I just log on it doesn't come up on my groups, I have to try and find it. Don't know what I'm not doing right to add this group, I found another group for this ship and div and was able to add that group. Oh I guess I will have to keep trying. Thanks
Hi ladies! I've been out of town for a few days and out of the loop with N4M.
I got a 20 minute call from my sr yesterday as well as a letter!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!
My husband just got done reading his letter and my cell phone rang. I was so tired from the flight home from my trip that I almost did not answer the phone because I did not recognize the number. I handed my husband the phone to answer. When he looked at the number he almost fell on the floor!
He also told me that he would be calling sat for an hour. I can't wait!!!!
He sounds fantastic. He said it's really hard but he LOVES it. Praise God!
Got to talk to my SR for an hour today!!!!!! YEAH!!!! He sounds so good!
I pray you ladies all got to talk to your SRs as well.
Saturday must be phone day....sooo good to hear his voice.
My S.R. said they could receive packages....the RDCs keep the food items since they can't have any food in their barracks. I mailed a non food package today. Hope the package gets to him.
Spoke to my SR today as well-- so wonderful to hear from him!! He told me that they've either won or are winning the division flag for academics and that is why he could have an hour long call.
He didn't know when he would get to call again but as a group, they will be allowed to write more frequently that just Sundays;we've only got a month to go until we see 'em!
teeny, he said that your SR is one of his best buddies there. :)
Hope everyone is having a good one!
I spoke with my SR also. It was wonderful. I am so thankful it was an hour!

Even though I don't post much, thank you all for sharing - I learn a lot just by reading the posts. The heads-up from sjtina is really helpful, and thanks to AuburnMom for the updates from her phone call! I think my son is impressed when I know what's going on without him telling me:)
Does anyone know how to make the newest posts come up on the first page? It seems to be that way for most of the discussions I read, but for some reason this one is in chronological order and I always have to go to the last page.
