Boot Camp Mom's Prayer

God bless my recruit as he meets this day

I pray that he has the strength to find his way

As reveley wakes him so loud and clear

I pray your love will lead him, and he will show no fear

If there's danger and if there's strife

Please send Angels to guard his life

Keep him safe and hold him near

Bless my recruit, I hold him dear

Until he moves on to PIR day

Bring peace to our hearts

And strength to our faith

(Many thanks to our own 'teeny' for sharing!)

Good Luck to our Sailors today! I'm with you SWCC'Em lets get another flag! We're not to greedy are we?

Happy weekend to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow,

I should know by now that if I miss two days, I will come back to four fantastic pages of posts that I did not get to participate in. :( I missed birthdays, new friends, surgery, and all the "I'm a sailor" and "we get to SLEEP" posts. I almost missed my call and my phone was in my hand! I high tailed it outside where I could get a signal and praise God he called right back.

Happy birthday to myty and son!.

Chris's Mom, I am so glad to hear that your 11y/o is better. My 9 year old had one tooth pulled recently and it wiped her out for several days. I know that must have been hard on both of you. I have noticed that several of us have kids around that age. We plan to be at PIR early so maybe they can all entertain each other a bit.

Teeny, thank you for the happy dance. I think it will alway be a celebration bond between us all.

Welcome new friends.

I am trying very hard not to EXPLODE from excitement and anticipation. I will not be able to make it to coffee or the meet and greet but I will be at PIR early. I hope I can find you all. This group has really helped me through my communication withdrawals and separation sadness! You have all been a blessing to me. I look forward to keeping in touch as we all travel into deeper waters together.

Happy Mother Day everyone.  I hope you have a great day.  Maybe jus maybe we will get a call today.    I will be tghinking about each and everyone of you guys today. Love to all.  4 MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Mother's Day everyone!!!

I know we're missing our boys today (and hopefully we'll get a call from them) but I am so excited that we'll get to actually HUG them in four more days!!

I am sure today is hard, but hopefully this week will go fast. Happy Mothers Day everyone.

Happy MaMa's Day to all!

I just wanted to say Happy Mama's Day to all......a little bit of a bummer, I know we all are wishing a call from our "babies"... I just wanted to let LaLa know that I got my ribbons yesterday....they were perfect!!! I will be so proud to wear these next week!!! Only 4 more days and we can all get the squeeze we are all craving..... :)
