I figure since divisions 159 and 161 were represented already, I'd add 160 ;)
It's hard to believe that it's been over a week since my brother left already. When I called my dad to give him my brother's address, he mentioned that when he took my brother out for his going away party, a Navy vet had come up and told him that he will gain a whole brotherhood/sisterhood while in the Navy, so that really makes me feel better. I'd love to meet the families of his new brothers and sisters!

hi Ty's Mom, welcome and nice to meet you here. :-)
My Son, Dustin is with your brother on Ship 07, Div. 160! Nice to know that I'm not alone anymore :) Can you tell me if your brother's "box" has arrived yet? Today is the 2 week mark of Dustin leaving and I assumed the box would have come by now.
Welcome everyone!!! I still have not received my brother's box yet. I really thought it would have come by now, unless he decided to send it back home instead.
Hi janieannie, have you received your son's box yet? My son,Nigel left for BC on the 28th and until now, no box still. Worried it got lost or whatever.
Hi Nigels Mom, no still haven't received the box or a letter from Dustin. Tuesday will be the 3 week mark. Hopefully soon :)
same here. hope everything's fine with our SR.
Hi everyone...my son is in this division and I'm so excited to be part of this group and have someone to share my thoughts with. I have received the form letter and waiting for the first phone call. I miss him so much and can't wait to hear his voice. Have sent a couple letters so far but nothing in return....keep waiting
where are you coming from? we are from wisconsin so i've looked at a few spots and not sure where to go as well. Residence Inn looks good but I'm not sure. I'm open for suggestions! I would like to spend some time that day in downtown chicago if possible. Again just not sure of the time frame.
My Dustin is also in 07/160 and we are from Cairo, Mo. I can't wait to see him in uniform! Praying like crazy:)
Hi dfroe64, just talked to my son a while ago. And he said he made lots of friends. And mentioned a name Dan. I guess, if there's no other Dan in their division, it must be your son. Glad to meet you.
Hi DeeDee, Yes I am with my 17 year old son, Nigel's younger brother. I'm planning to stay at Navy Lodge, they said it's the closest to the venue & cheaper too. And definitely needs Sarge's help in getting around the area because I don't drive. How about you? Who's coming with you to PIR? Have a nice evening too. So glad to meet you, DeeDee.
