I didn't get the note either but was nice to get the form letter with her handwriting on the envelope :-)
Thx for getting back to me so quickly! I'm on the train for home - keeping my fingers crossed I get something this week!

My fiance' is in 928 :) No letter yet though.

Yes my daughter is in 002 div 928 and I got the form letter today. Where do you live? You should get it soon. She didn't write a note or anything but she filled in blanks and the envelope. It was nice to see her hand writing

Alabama, and it came today! So excited! No personal note or anything, but I love seeing his handwriting!

How exciting to see this forum of ship 2 division 928!!!  This means that all of our loved ones are together?  I am sticking to the no news is good news.  I just keep writing to him and i just came home from cvs picked up more band aids and mole skin to send in his envelope as other moms suggested.  I guess they are breaking in the boots and it's giving them blisters and ouchies.  PIR 5/25/12 can't be here soon enough!!!!  Prayers to all our SR's!!!!!  : )

I received my form letter from my daughter on April 5th. As many of you have stated no special note, just the form letter with the blanks filled in...I too just love seeing her handwriting on the envelope! Hoping to have further discussions and hopefully meet some of you May 25,2012.

Happy to have found this group and glad to hear the bandaid suggestion. Had no idea they would need them. My son did scribble a small smiley face on his form letter....I hope this means all is well!!! Anyone know when they will be allowed to write home?  I pray its soon; really needing to hear something from him.

My Daughters in this Division and I received her letter on Friday , I too was hoping for a note from her but no such thing. Im hoping for a letter from her soon :). I will Just keep on writing her till I get a response .

It was kind of hard at Easter not having her here , But I thought of her often.  May 25th get here quick please !

Me too!!!! So over the no contact. Missing my girl, trying to stay busy.

So is this one of the preforming divisions? Like the ones that carry the flags and so forth?

Yea I was wondering the same thing is this one of the div. that is for performers , singers, flag carriers etc.??? Does anyone know the  answer to this ????? My daughter does sing , But does any of your FUTURE sailors have experience in Drill or Flag carrying Singing Etc????
