My daughter also is on Ship 7 Div161 which I think cause that's the Info her recruiter gave me on the 3/29/12 but as of today still no form letter :( Has anyone else from that Ship get there form letter?

Did you get your form letter yet?? I was blown away when I did at her handwriting! so so straight! :)

I have not received a form letter yet either. This is the information her recruiter gave me. I got her box yesterday, so I'm hoping for the letter this week.

Hope we get it early next week like on Monday

I Also Purchased our tickets and already booked our hotel :) counting down the days till the 5/25  One Happy Mom

Good morning ... Ship 7 Div 161 moms, hope everyone has a great day!!!

TGIF/ Do you think the kids count down the days like the moms?????

They probably don't know what the date is they are so tired...lol.

I have not heard from my SR yet. He is in 7/161.

I got my box when I was out of town the first week he was gone. I had to go to grandma's... I just couldn't stay at home and that woman loves my son just about as much as I do. I ask my husband to search every inch of that box (including pockets) to see if there was a note or something in there. I guess he took my advice a slept as much as possible on the way down. I hope he did anyway.

Have not got a personal letter- just the standard form about graduation and his address. His first letter from mom was mailed yesterday and it was a BOOK... took 3 stamps. I didn't think it would fit in a standard envelope...lol

My name is Suzanne and I live in NC

Hi Suzanne!  I am patiently awaiting a letter from my daughter.  I hope we all hear from them next week.  I send letters every other day.  It is my therapy, and hopefully hers.  I am in massachusetts, and my girl is named Eleni.. I'm willing to bet she has gotten into trouble for smiling too much.. She laughs when she is nervous..

Eleni,

Josh looks guilty when he is nervous no matter how innocent he is... hope that doesn't catch him any flack.. I am sure they are going to get their fair share of some reaming... that is part of the experience... but the good thing is- they will come out loving their moms for all the laundry- bed making and bathroom cleaning we did all their lives.

Thank goodness mine is a people pleaser and a chameleon- he is very adaptable to his environment once he figures out the rules of engagement. So I have not had too much anxiety about him getting along with people.... yet. When I get that first letter I will know, whether he says it or not, what is shaking in the Great Lakes.

I am making a quilt for his graduation. That will help the time go by because I am a serious procrastinator when it comes to my quilting and I will put it off until 2 weeks before grad. and then it will be a star-spangled blitz!

Do you have more than 4 going to the graduation?? I have to get an extra pass for my dad. I hope they let me have it. He was in the Marines and no one came to his graduation and he really really wants to be there. PLUS he has all the great cinema / photography junk. I need my executive producer there to record the event...lol

Well, just got off the phone with my sister and she is on the way to the hospital to have her baby- so I am going to go and nibble on that worry pile for a minute.

See you Mom's and Dad's later!

Suzanne
