OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Diannep, the accident was her fault. She was only going 25 to 30 mph. She looked back in the mirror to check on Eastyn because she had gotten really quiet and she didn't want her to go to sleep because they were less than 5 min from home. So she looked back and in that split second the car in front of her stopped and she hit them in the rear end. Their car didn't have much damage at all, no one was hurt and they were able to drive away with no problems. The officer told her there were lots of accident in that spot for some reason. She was charged with following too close.

Can someone tell me If there is a restaurant in or near Navy Lodge

Comment by NanM on May 5, 2014 at 1:18pm

That would be fun Lala! If I can make it, I will be there. If I know ahead of time, depending on what day it will be, I can try to get the day off. It will depend, since I am already asking for the last Friday and Saturday in May off to go to PIR. Let me know when you have plans set up :)

Oh my, Lala, on the photo.  I can't imagine that they would NOT total that!  Was the other driver charged with the accident---and were they insured so they would cover her damage?  Hope so....was the other driver hurt?  Hope NOT!  So glad that they weren't injured worse....

Sounds like a great idean, Lala!

Thanks NanM, I am trying to put together a meet and greet in San Diego while I am there the first two weeks of June so maybe you can make a trip to join us :)

Hello LaLa Ribbon Queen I'm sorry to hear about the accident. I will add her to my prayers. I have been praying for protection for our future sailors too.
